Activesync Conflict

by adamsjason / October 17, 2007 7:26 AM PDT

Hi, Activesync is reporting a conflict with my outlook calendar but when i
click on resolve the pop up resolve window is showing an invalid email
address - but the email address isn't in my outlook contact list nor in the
list on my pda?
Whats going wrong?

Without the exact "errror message" I can't see if there is an existing article on this.

there isn't an error message, when i cradle the pda sync starts and reports that there is an unresolved item in the calendar. I click resolve and a window comes up, which I presume is supposed to show what the unresolved item is. But the unresolved item isn't a calendar item it's an email address.
It says that outlook doesn't recognise the address (the address is in the format "surname, first name {organisation name} - the email address is my work internal email address, and its probably on an email i forwarded home.

Then "the message" as in your writing "Activesync is reporting a conflict with my outlook calendar". Put the message in quotes so I don't have to guess.

"outlook doesn't recognise the address (the address, an email address) is in the format "surname, first name {organisation name}"

Hi, thanks but just sorted it before you posted - I created a contact for my work email address and then associated the problem address with it (still doesn't explain why an email address issue would appear under calendar.
