If not then you pay others dearly for the service.
There is no "activation" here. Just a matter of wiring at your junction box or other place. I'm running into more people that think these things are done with some software. Sorry, wires are still run and connected by ... people power.
HERE'S AN IDEA -> Install the DSL WIFI ROUTER where it's "active" and use a wifi connection to your machine.
Hi! Just moved into a house and signed up for ATT DSL Pro. Unfortunately, the phone jack in the particular room that we want to set up the computer is not active. ATT wants $125 to come in and activate it, which I think is ridiculous. Is there a way I can possibly do this myself? Or are there cheaper options than ATT? Thanks for your help!
