I believe that you right click "computer then left click properties and scroll down to activate.

I used dband to boot my hp pavilion dv6265us notebook pc which came vista operating system after i could install win xp so install a trial version of vista and now i have to install vista every 30days help me out please. how do i activate back vista? when i used the automated system is says not available at my location, ghana.

thank you for your idear but the problem again is that the pc did not came with a recovery disc. but i created one. but when i try installing it would reach a stage it would asked for a second dvd to complete installation which means that the recovery disc should have been two cds to make it complete. that is why i have to reley on the trail versions vista as i cannot aford the full version of vista now.

They should accommodate you with new recovery CD's with an adequate explanation from you. What happened to the second recovery CD you made?

May be a small charge for the disc from HP but worth the time and effort.
