Sometimes you need to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.
-> Since you are "currently helping my company import all our contacts into an ACT! 2006 database" the call or cost is not an unexpected cost and should be well within what you need to do to get it done.
2. Yes. If you are using some SQL backend server. Since this is a business....

Just have two questions:
1. Act! 2006 is suppose to be compatible with Seiko's Smart Label Printer (which prints labels one by one...and in my case, each label is 1.125" X 3.5"). But I can't seem to find a label template that works with the printer and this particular format. I've tried creating a custom one, experimenting with different measurements, but the labels never come out right. The text is always cut off or it just doesn't appear at all. Has anyone else tried to print from ACT! 2006 using the SLP?
2. Is it possible to run the equivalent of a Microsoft Access "Update Query" in ACT! 2006? I have one field which I would like to change for 2000+ contacts I have in my database and an update query would make my life so much easier.
Thanks so much.
