Acrobat Reader pdf, Copy to word

Mar 30, 2004 1:25AM PST

Hello maybe the wrong forum. I want to copy pdf format to word or maybe word pad. The problem I have is it does not copy correct. It's an Atkins diet and has 8 or 9 colums which I can add. It just doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Rod,

The formatting of pdf files and .doc files is entirely different so a simple "copy and paste" doesn't work perfectly, especially if pictures, charts, or other embedded objects are included.

There are a number of coverters available which can be found by searching Google for "Convert pdf to doc", but I'm not familiar with any of them. I've tried a few trial versions, but most aren't perfect. Maybe some else has some experience with a particular product and would include a recommendation.

Hope this helps.

Grif

Thanks for the info Griff. Geez I never thought of doing a Google search, duh. Maybe something will be out there.
