Okay, so I'm working at a printing company. We often print from large PDF files, using Adobe Acrobat (version 8 right now).
Now, with the printing software we use for large format prints it's faster to print from individual files, so I'll often extract the pages of a multi-page PDF into separate files. When it does this, it names the files "FILENAME 1.pdf", "FILENAME 2.pdf" etc. But if I have, like, 60 pages, the lack of a "0" before the first nine file numbers will place them out of order alphanumerically and it makes the file selection when I'm printing them tedious.
I'd say it only adds an extra two or three minutes to my workload every job, but if I do 15 jobs a day that's an extra half-hour to 45 minutes of work.
Maybe this is a minor annoyance, but I feel the people at Adobe are pretty good programmers and would have made a way to alter the naming structure for file extraction. Is there such a way?
