I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 on a WinXP machine. I can't get the "select graphics" tool to work in this new (to me) Acrobat version. The problem is that the one-only select tool is set to select text only. That works okay.
I tried the AA help file's suggestion - "If you cannot select an image because of overlapping text, open the Preferences dialog box, and under Categories, select General. Then select Make Select Tool Select Images Before Text".
That didn't seem to change anything. I checked Google for similar problems posted and search CNET, too.
Is there a fix or workaround for this? Thanks.
Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly
Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
