Acme Setup problem

I have installed Windows SP2 on my Wondows XP machine. Later I wanted to install Microsoft Visual Studio on my system but it says that the Acme setup is missing on my system due to which it is not able to install.

I went and searched for this problem and I have seen some discussion forums mentioning the same problem after they have installed Service Pack 2. I tried to find a file for acme setup. Can u please advise me for the same?

While I have a perfect opportunity to see if my laptop without Visual Studio 6 will do that on Windows XP Home SP2, you didn't quote the error message or tell me if you have the enterprise version or... much else.

I can't help you yet and will wait for you to make a full post.

Given the price of that package, why not call it in?
