Acer TM 4402 WLMi - CPU fan is not working

I bought this laptop about 2 months ago, now i'm having this prolem that the fan just doesn'n work at all, does anyone know what the reason could be???
is it possible to somehow turn he fan on manually, since it comes on once a week for like 10 minutes and then nothing, but whitout having to take the laptop apart???

Try this. Make the machine "work".

If the machine is well built, designed, etc, the fan should almost never come on. You can push the issue by installing SETI from http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/ which will cause the CPU to max out, create heat and the fan should kick on from time to time to cool it off.

If it doesn't turn on under this load more than before with no load, call it in.
