Acer Switch Alpha 12 or Switch 5 ?

Hi

Acer Aspire Alpha 12 ( i5 6200u / 8GB / 256 GB SSD) https://www.cnet.com/products/acer-switch-alpha-12/spec... ~ 600 $

Acer Switch 5 ( i5 7200u / 8GB / 256GB SSD)
https://www.cnet.com/products/acer-switch-5/specs/ ~ 800 $

I can't decide between these two. Performancewise there seem to be no significant difference. However Alpha 12 is 1.5 years older. ( I hope there isn't any big difference between touch screens.)
Besides I will not use it as an artist only for education purposes.

What do you guys think, should I go for Alpha 12 or pay 200 $ more and get switch 5. Or can you recommend me a better hybird laptop with similar price ?

See if these are reviewed at notebookcheck.com and focus on the areas you thing matter. To me since you said artist I'd look at the display area and next if it uses pen and pressure levels.
