acer power fh celeron desktop

i hope somebody can help! we have a few acer power fh desltops at our client's premises. when we try to remote access to the desktop, it reboots! acer support cannot assist as they claim they cannot replicate the problem. anyone have some ideas?

But check the bios and "disable the remote wake-up" feature. It may see any remote signal as a reboot. If you use ethernet cards as part of that network, check to see if "boot prom" is present, remove or disable/reset it. I exclude any remote s/w glitches, if you have such installed, review it.

when does it reboot?

do you get a login prompt? if so, perhaps something in the user profile/startup is doing it. if not, then perhaps a device driver is causing the issue. either way, i think you've got to get your hands on one of the pcs to troubleshoot it properly.
