I would like to see what those people who own an Acer laptop have to say about.I may buy one so I want to have some inputs in regards to:
-easy to use
-reliability
-tech support
-warranty
-extended warranty
Thank you for your time

Few words.

I picked up my ter-600 in 2000. The call to get the CDRW fixed resulted in them overnighting a replacement drive to me that I installed. I don't have a problem with this since the alternative would be to ship it out, wait weeks, etc.

Now its 4 years old, still works and I've swapped the hard disk out, replaced the CDRW for a DVD/CDRW and it still works.

But I baby it. Never dropped, don't use for seating or door opening.

Very uneventful.

-> As to software issues, today that's everyone's beef with support. Just one thing. They didn't write windows.
