The owners choice of security software broke it. They were unhappy that I could not fix Norton. I must defer such failures to the security software maker. If that's not it, what's not stock?
I purchased a LG 4K smart TV and have an Acer Laptop- Aspire (2017 model). I also have some other devices.
All of the other devices are able to use Miracast to connect and share wirelessly their screens except the Acer Laptop.
I have checked to make sure MiraCast is enabled and confirmed it should work. The device seems to connect but that always shoots back a "your device has disconnected" within 10 seconds of connect.
The devices are working on the same wireless network. Any ideas.
