Question

Acer Chromebook vs HP Chromebook

Apr 3, 2017 6:49PM PDT

I am looking to buy a budget laptop (preferably under $300) that is good for watching Netflix/Hulu/YouTube, light web browsing, and some light student work. I believe I have narrowed down my list to the Acer Chromebook 15 cb5-571-c4g4 and the HP Chromebook 14 ak-050nr. Does anybody have any insight as to which is better or a recommendation for a different laptop that is superior to these two, within my budget? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

...larger screen, double SDD size, but a pound heavier. The other a slightly faster CPU, inch less screen, and lighter. Not much difference. Want more visual, or smaller size and lighter weigh to carry around? In other respects, much the same. You can overcome the 16GB SSD by carrying around a USB flash drive of larger size to add more storage for files.

I think if you can save up and increase your budget a little bit. You can get a higher end laptop which is thinner, faster, and last you longer. Electronics devices downgrade so fast. However, if you can't, I suggest you get Acer chromebook. Bigger screen, and acer is actually quite durable. I like how the acer look compared to the bulky looking of the hp in my opinion
