Acer C314XMi-Microsoft Office

by Chuckzz / April 6, 2006 11:00 PM PDT

I recently purchased an Acer C314XMi, best computer ever, but I noticed that I sadly didn't have any programs like: ''Microsoft Word'', ''Excel'', ''Publisher'', ''Powerpoint''. Am I supposed to download all these programs, or did they all come with the computer, I just haven't installed it. Please help, I need to use those programs!

That is a good question...

To be honest, it really, REALLY, depends on if it actually came with the laptop when you bought it. there are those companies that have it pre-installed, some come witha CD, others that don't have it at all. So it all comes down to if the laptop is 'supposed' to come with MS OFFICE or not. Also, it wouldn't hurt at all to ask the sales person, from where you bought the laptop from, if it is supposed to have OFFICE or not.

Good luck

What I use is... Open Office.

At the office and home we moved to Open Office over a year ago. The savings have been in the tens of thousands and that's just the last year.

Yes, it's able to read and save .DOC and .XLS and .PPT files. Any nuances are easy to get over for the price.
