Acer Aspire keeps rebooting - Windows 8

Apr 23, 2015 11:53PM PDT

This laptop keeps rebooting with an error- 0xc0000145
The F8 doesn't work, Shift+F8 doens't work. I am not able to get into the dang Safe Mode. Why is it so hard? I don't know how to reset this thing. Was going to attempt the bootrec.exe.

Ideas?

It's called NT_STATUS_APP_INIT_FAILURE, but that doesn't say much.

I'd find the user manual and see what it tells about Acer eRecovery in your machine.
Or read https://neosmart.net/wiki/acer-recovery-disk/ for using the disks you made in stead of the standard recovery built-in.
