Acer Aspire E15 Charging Problems

I thought I would share my problems I had with my Acer Aspire E15 laptop.
I bought it new a few months ago and it started playing up by not charging properly or some times not at all. I was going to send it back to Acer but that meant waiting at least two weeks before I would get it back.
I did not know if it was the laptop its self or the battery/charger.
Most times when I plugged in the charger the red light would flash on the laptop once and that was it even when the battery was flat. Then the odd time it would all of a sudden decide to charge etc...
So I decided to take a gamble and buy a new charger from eBay for £12.99 and it paid off, it was the charger after all.
