Hello all
I have been googling for days now with no luck. I need the ascer aspire 9300 laptop repair manual. I have paid for the download on some site but when I go to find it it has disapeared.so if any one could point me in the right direction for a free download of this service manual I would be most grateful. The reason being I dropped the laptop breaking the power lead connector on the main board.

If it's just the power connector
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / June 5, 2008 12:04 AM PDT

Why would any tech need a manual for that? But maybe you are not technically inclined (you didn't say) and need a step by step to open said laptop (you didn't tell.)

If there is such a manual, it's in the service centers but today I'm seeing less of such things and more e-documention. Sometimes its in some very proprietary system and never a PDF.

So let's say it does not exist. Since it's just a broken power jack then you are in luck. No tech would need a manual to replace that or touch up the solder work.

For power jack repair.

Maybe I was unclear. Any technician should be stripped of their solder iron for wanting a service manual to change a power jack.

After awhile these things all look the same here. Done too many it seems.

Maybe you aint unclear but just to condescending Billy...

Anyway BobMc99 I know exactly what you thinkin for I live the same situation right now ! My DC jack on my Aspire 9300 passed out when my cat showed to much to my laptop left to close from theedge of the table ...

I aint tech, just a software student but I handle this problem well till now,
the only real hard part is jut a scary part : when you have to lift the protecting cap where the power button is but you can force it a bit (NOT TO MUCH)

For the complete user guide and service manual I found em here (http://case.oncle-tom.net/2007/11/07/installation-module-bluetooth-acer-aspire/) where a French guy tells about all his computer problems (like how to install a BlueTooth device on a laptop)
For just the manual you have an archive (http://dl.free.fr/bLCS31qZW/doc-acer.zip) hope you will do well with it tell us soon about your story ^^

By the way sorry if my English is awful but French language learning system is not good either ;p
