Acer aspire 5920 laptop hangs while using reliance data card

Hi.
I have a strange problem which acer service guys are not able to solve.

My laptop hangs if I try to browse internet with a data card.

but i can use a wired connection without problems.

The data card is ok as I tried in another machine.

Acer guys made me pay for a wi-fi card change but that didnt solve the problem.

Now they cannot find out the issue. My laptop is only 1 year old and I cannot afford a new one now.
Please help.

I install the OS per the factory image. I've lost count how many times that fixed similar issues.

But reading about this card in posts like http://ibuyindia.blogspot.com/2007/06/wireless-internet-reliance-data-card.html I begin to wonder if it is all that reliable. That is I read where it doesn't work in all machines.

That leads me to say "get something else."

Acer service guys already formatted and reloaded the OS from mirror. that is not the problem.

Their drivers, their problem. Just because it works in one machine does not mean it should work other places.

Now if you had supplied more details like events from the event viewer or such I might have other ideas but as presented and what I read it's a product with problems.

Can you tell me how to access the event viewer? My laptop is still at the service centre... but will also try this if they cannot solve the problem.

Remember this is not tech support. just a discussion forum. You might have to research stuff.

Pull up a google.com site and type this:

How to use the Event Viewer in Windows.

Anything that I write would be there and with that search you can pick and choose which article explains it best.
