not computer literate(7 years engines and emails),why does this laptop take 7-8 minutes to go from start button to where I can click on firefox to get rolling? Thanx.

This is not to claim this is your machine's issue but look at the work and how we tried to avoid the hardware issue. We did try.

-> BUT I SEE A BIGGER ISSUE. This laptop has 512MB, a Celeron single core CPU and runs Vista. This is strictly a VALUE play laptop and was never meant to operate too quickly.
