Acer AO D260...DDR3 or DDR2 ?

by stephennity / October 16, 2014 11:07 PM PDT

Hi...I have an Acer D260 that I have run Speccy analysis on ad want to find out what type DDR I have installed.

The analysis of RAM under heading of "Memory" and then "type" reads that I have a DDR3 of 2gb installed.

further down the analysis page under the heading of "SPD" ..."slot 1" it reads that I have DDR2 type of 2gb installed .

Can anybody tell me which type of DDR I have installed without the need to open the machine up and physically look at the RAM please ?

I would load the Speccy page so you could see what I mean but can`t see a way to load the page here.

I'd go to and ask their site. Two options: (1) un the analysis program that checks it on your laptop or (2) look what their specs say.
