The built in Accuweather app doesn't seem to automatically refresh. Is there a way to get it to do so? Seems I have to hit refresh whenever I want to get the updated temp/conditions.

I don't see any documentation on that app so your choices appear to be:
1. Press the usual menu/settings button while in the app and see if it offers refresh times.
2. Use some other app.

Ok, I see where to change it now, but it seems 1 hr is the lowest you can go for refresh times. I was hoping 15 mins or 30 mins....is there another weather widget/app that anybody could recommend for this phone? I like having it on the home screen all the time.
