In addition, make sure to create a different user profile for your grandson.. DON'T make him a use with admin rights.. Once that's done, you might want to read the Parental Controls article below:

Need to fix my grandson an account that he can't access anything but his programs. Nothing on the Taskbar and Start Menu except switch user and I mean literally. He has deleted full programs in the past on my old computer and moved files by using the right click feature. He right clicks and then clicks on the box that appears. It has been a nightmare in times past keeping him out of things I didn't want him in. I want to remove icons that are from my desktop from his desktop too. Everytime I move them off of his they leave mine too. How do I resolve this? I have Vista Home Premium.
