Why not revert again but to the set you wanted?
As to your old data, files we can't lose are always on backups. With free storage at Dropbox, iCloud, Microsoft and more, there aren't many reasons to not keep the files we can't lose on backups.

Accidentally wiped out all of my C Drive by making a recovery that was the default set, which means I used a previous set of data as recovery, as my computer went blue and mistaken for a fix. I want to see if there is any chance of finding my old data.
