Apparently harmless spyware. Probably caused by a tracking Cookie. Remove Cookies, Temporary Internet files, History. Run an anti-spyware scan such as ewido from .

It can also be blocked by Host file.

Hope this helps.

Charlie, I went to to get the software to do the scan but it looks like I won't be able to use it because I am still running Windows 98 SE. Any other ideas? Also I do not understand what you mean when you say "it can also be blocked by the Host file". Thank you for your suggestions.

Anti tools for w98 are becoming more limited.

Two that still function are.
Spybot Search and Destroy.
Use google.

As for the Hosts file look here.

It explains what a host file does and how to use it.
Burstnet seems to be a site it will block.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
