I am trying to run a report that would return specific information requested. Ex: Beginning Date / End Date / Vendor.
I created a query with the criteria needed. If I run the query, it will provide only the dates and Vendors I request.
I then created a form with unbound boxes. The form shows the three fields with a drop down box for the Vendors. The OK / Cancel buttons are linked to a macro which makes them work correctly as well.
Problems are as follows:
-If I run the Form, it returns nothing (but I believe that is correct) since there is on link as to where it should go.
-When I run the report it shows no record. The report is linked to the query and the forms does come up for me to input the data but no result appears.
-If I change the report link to the table, everything works but the data I receive ignores the input dates and Vendor requested.
I've been checking some places and some say not to use any macros and others show that I should run the Form which in turn work on the macro and the macro will be linked to the report, but I haven't been able to make it work that way either.
Any help please!!
