Question

Access Remote Desktop from inside the network

May 17, 2015 2:57AM PDT

Hi guys, i setup a network with pfsense router and WS 2008 R2 . As you can see from the diagram the Windows Server is attached on the pfsense router with ip address 192.168.40.2 and is succesfully accessed from outside of the network from the public ip address as i alwready setup NAT rules on pfsense. The matter is that i cant access the Remote Desktop (.200) from the WS 7 Client that is attached on the ISP modem with IP address 192.168.10.10

Any idea why i can access it from outside but not from inside even if im try to access it via 192.168.10.200 ?

See my diagram here.

There's not enough detail for me to dive into your firewall/etc. This is one of those true IT tests. That is, will your IT know when to pick up the phone? Some just sit there burning hours.
