Resolved Question

Access Point? Repeater?

Jan 4, 2014 4:56AM PST

Just purchased TiVo Roamio Plus. Seems the WiFi signal is not strong enough for this unit. (No problem on old unit). Do I need to buy an access point (router?) a repeater or what? All other devices can use the existing signal with no problem. (-85db in area of new TiVo)

Access Point, Repeater or what?

Thanks for the quick reply. Did follow your link & then a few others. Will first try moving existing router (as best as I can) to optimize the range and then go from there.
Again, thanks for the help.
