"Access" message on Sony Cyber Shot W50

Mar 13, 2010 4:22AM PST

I have a Sony DSC-W50 and whenever the 2GB Memory Stick Duo Pro I have is in, the back LCD screen of the camera just reads "access" and essentially I can't do anything. I can't access the menu of the camera, take pictures, or anything else. The camera will power on, but when it powers off, it's weird because the screen goes blank and then it eventually powers off, but normally it would just power off as soon as I hit the power button. Any help? I have tried it on two different W50 cameras, and it does the same thing on both. I assume it's then the memory card, but I'm unsure because the second W50 I bought off eBay because I assumed the first camera just needed to be replaced.

just fixed my own problem

Problem must have come from Memory Stick. I deleted the DCIM (or whatever it's called) and MISC file folders, and everything works fine now.
