Access 2000: DB crashes when I try to close a report

Oct 6, 2004 5:59AM PDT

I have an Access 2000 database that seems to be working fine except for one
thing - when I try to run and then close a report I get an error
("MSAccess.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows"). It runs
the report fine, it only crashes when I try to actually close the window the report is displayed in. Access either generates the error or just hangs, eventually eating up so much memory that the computer practically comes to a halt (can't even call up Task Manager).

I've tried compact and repair, running the /decompile switch on the DB, and even creating a new DB and importing the data over using the Import function
in Access, but no luck.

Does anyone know what other steps I can take to fix this?

I'm using:

Windows 2000
MS Access 2000
