- Did you already read reviews?
- The differences from your description: finger print, backlit keyboard, disk space 256 or 512 GB. How important are these for you?

drive space is not imp for me... as i said i am into appearance... i currently use 128GB SSD which is more tyan enough for me... But i am confused about processor type (8265u or R2500u) and the respective battery performance

I would suggest you go with ASUS Vivobook 15 x505 which is one of the best laptops under $500. It comes with Ryzen 5 processor with 16GB of RAM and has a very thin and a full HD bezel-less display of 15.6 inches, for more information you can go on ASUS page. I would recommend you go with this Laptop, It's one of the best office use laptop.
