Go to Cingular.com to see available Prepaid plans. Currently the GO phone Pick your plan is your best bet.

You won't find it on the internet for Go Phone plans, but you can still purchase at the retail store. Any current phone sold by Cingular can be used for prepaid service.

1. Does it have photo caller id?
2. Does it have a great signal?
3. Is the camera good?
4. How much did it cost for you?
5. Is the ringer loud enough?

Thank you.

Yes

Yes to all of all questions with the exception of cost. I bought the phone in October when it first came out. I paid retail price at that time (approx $220).

Very reliable phone, but I might suggest the newer Samsung P207. Available only online from Cingular. Even better features than the E317. Cannot purchase online at retail price, only w/ 2 year contract, not available at store yet.

Virgin Wireless

Yes I do think it is a good service. It does operate on the Verizon network. When I helped a friend purchase a Prepaid phone, I suggested Virgin Wireless mainly because of cost of minutes and phone. Hope that helps.

Sprint & Virgin or Verizon

I did some research and it seems that sprint and virgin mobile has the same coverage. It seems that sprint has a great coverage. But i heard people saying bad things about sprint. Birdmantd do you know who has the best coverage? And how virgin and verizon runs on the same network?

Coverage
Jun 18, 2005 11:10PM PDT

Don't know who is best in your area. Sprint and Verizon do use the same technology phones, all comes down to brand preference. Check out the coverage maps posted on the internet or the in-store brochures. Remember, no matter what they show for coverage areas, no guarantee of actual coverage.
