And if by ethernet did you move the machine to another location to retest so you don't use the same cable, ethernet port, etc?
Our art department consists of 12 Macs that connection to Windows Servers using Extreme Z-ip. One user in particular is experiencing long periods of time to copy files. For instance, a 100mb .tif file takes over an hour, whereas on other systems, it takes roughly a minute. I have restarted the problematic system, verified the credentials for Extreme Z-ip, but still slow transfer speeds.
My question is what might cause slow transfer speeds, considering systems with a similar setup do not experience this latency when retrieving the same files?
