i have a ABIT NF7-S V2.0 MOTHERBOARD that has died a small blue and white power sw cable has come away from the board and a tiny red light is lite up on the motherboard there is power going in and to the harddrive and cd drive and the fan but nothing will spark into life does anyone have a picture of where this cable goes as one site says place in 6 and 8 but the connecter is a two pin that does not come apart and number seven is in the way . the machine has a 40 gig hard drive and is running on xp service pack 2 and apart from beating it witha large hammer i am stuck as what to do next as the company has never got back in touch and the machine is a friends that i was cleaning out for him a simple job or so i thought please please help .

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
