A virus wiped part of my Vista registry out. I want to repair it, and I do NOT wish to delete all my programs if I have option. System running svc pack2 Vista. System no longer in warranty, and was an OEM, so Microsoft wont help without payment. Neither will Acer (assemblier of system and source of OS Software install). I also have no install discs (again, OEM installation).I discovered how to get online, but I am stuck in safe mode, windows will NOT boot normally. Virus seems dead and gone now. Malwarebytes software killed/removed 2 from system. Interestingly, not the one that seemed to have goobered it the most, but I now see that it could have removed itself! Need help with this SOON!
