Personally, I think you get more bang for your buck with Pioneer and they're good receivers.
I didn't research your choices but over the past few years you see less and less receivers with dedicated phono inputs -- left and right channel and a ground. Just make sure the connectivity is there before you buy.
I don't know what kind of turntable you have but if it has a USB port -- look for a receiver with a USB also.
I have a Fluance SX-HTB surround system and I recently got a turntable for my 33's. I was wondering which basic receiver would be best to connect at turntable to, I have been looking at denon 321/521 or pioneer vsx520/820. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
