A/V hookup question..

Nov 28, 2005 11:24PM PST

I'm anticipating that when I get my A/V receiver that I'll want to continue to use HDMI to run my video sources (satellite box, DVD player, etc) directly to my TV to ensure the best signal. My question is, CAN I still use HDMI for video, and route my audio through my home theater receiver? (i.e. A receiver without and HDMI input)

Or, would I have to skip the HDMI, and use component video to the TV in order to do that?

Thanks
