Question

A tool to manage cloud space from many providers

Dec 4, 2013 6:09PM PST

I am looking for a freeware or reasonably price one-time payment application to manage cloud space from various providers.

I know of Otixo and Cloudfuze, but both of them are web and subscription based. I am not fond of paying every month.

Does anyone know of other service/application?

Many thanks in advance

Does offline application count?

I think you can hardly find an online cloud space managing tool nowadays without paying per month. So I will recommend you to use data backup tools instead.
It may sound stupid and with lots of extra downloading & uploading process, but the thing is if you really want to keep your files safe and you don't feel like paying every month, then it might be the best solution.
Also how is cloud management different from a online server management? If they are not that far, (I assume) then you can find some similar thoughts from sql server ldf bulk logged.

I am not too sure what you are suggesting.

I ALWAYS keep multiple copies of my file, so there are 2 back ups offline but this online back up solution is, to have things handy when I travel. I usually travel only with my tablet and I do not need all the data every time I travel, but just in case if I need it, I should be able to get it.

And if at all, I lose anything, because the online service breaking down/server crash / change in the provider's policy, I don't care. This data is not personal/financial/hackworthy.

Why not your own "cloud"?

Many routers offer such. Even I put a 500GB HDD on my router. Surely that's more than what anyone needs to keep access to?
