General discussion

a task manager process

Feb 1, 2005 11:56PM PST

My system has been running very slow past week. I just disabled 'motive smart bridge' over a week ago. Don't know if it is related but ow my task manager shows a process running with the icon of a bright yellow lightening bold, simply with the word 'update' What is updating?? How to I get it to stop. It seems it has intefered with my POP server initializing. In the process window, the only update running is PAS8_Update.exe - is this the lightening bolt and what program is this??

Thanks,
I am not a computer tech, please help

If it were me, I would NOT want something like that running unless these people have a real good answer for you as to why it is there. You are welcome and good luck with them. Happy
