a snake can squeze into a very small crack so any opining is a wide open door.
thank you for releasing it un harmed:)
The addition to the house was finished almost 2 years ago. It is on a solid stone foundation, as is the rest of the house. The laundry area is it.
The other day my son found an adult snake, of the same kind as was caught in the lawn webbing last year, on the hard surface floor of that new room.
The foundation of the house has automatic vents all around. The washer water empties into a sewer. We could find no seams around the rooms where it could have entered, including under the sinks and other plumbing, electric outlets, etc. The dryer vent to the outside showed no signs of a entrance place.
It was a warm, dry day.
Any thoughts of how it could have gotten in?
The guy was returned to the out-of-doors unharmed.
