HOWTO DISABLE -> A Runtime Error Do you wish toDeBug
Feb 25, 2004 8:30PM PST

"Even though 'Disable script debugging' was functioning, you just started receiving Internet Explorer script debugging errors?

You haven't changed any Internet Explorer Internet Options, but you now receive errors similar to:

Error
A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: <line number>
Error: <the script error>

This behavior will occur if you installed Office 2003, and selected the Web Debugging option during installation.

To workaround this behavior:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. On the Tools menu, press Internet Options.

3. Select the Advanced tab.

4. Check the Disable script debugging box.

5. Clear the Display a notification about every script error box.

6. Press Apply.

7. Press OK."
