Microsoft's method creates an unique ID for the server so the clients must join the new server. Why not bring up a new DC?
Bob
There was a flood in the office and all the servers are dead. Most of the backups are gone too. The main problem I have now is that the user computers cannot access the newly installed servers, because of the absence of a working Domain Controller. My question is is it possible to create a fresh DC, using the same name and avoid readding all the computers to the DC?
