A PDA that can read SD cards and copy info off of them???

Im looking for a PDA that is relatively cheap and that i can stick my sd memory cards from my camera and such and they will copy over what is on them. Is there a PDA with that type of technology? I have been looking a little bit but im not sure what i should be looking for. Thanks for the helpm

Any PDA...

Any PDA with a SD card slot will allow you to view those files and you can select which (or all) files you want to transfer to the internal memory.

I have many models to play with. Almost every PalmOne unit, Axim, a few iPaqs and not one would be a good candidate for this. Here's why.

Each unit that has a SD memory slot has very little internal memory to copy the SD card date to. My TX is all of 128MB of which 100MB might be available. For about 20 bucks I've bought 2GB cards for my cameras. So there is no hope of offloading my 2GB 20 buck memory card into my PDA since it doesn't have that much space.

Same for any other models I have in the corral.

I do agree with you...

I was about to say you probably couldn't get a lot of files onto the PDA anyway since there is only a tiny bit of memory available to transfer to. Thanks for picking that up. Happy
