A news funny last night. On the Dallas news a news caster

reached over to give a "pinch" to a distant sports colleague, and slipped out of her chair. So far, so mildly amusing since she came up laughing and everything seemed okay. Unfortunately subsequent to this incident it has been revealed that the newscaster has had for many years, MS. She is a hero in Dallas for her continuing work both at the station and her work among the MS community. As the newscaster said, "She's my hero too." and apologized for not knowing all the details.

On the same broadcast, for no apparent reason, a Finnish newscaster fell off her chair disappearing beneath the desk before she actually finished the story. Instead of focussing on her partner in order to distract from the incident, they pulled back to a two shot and waited for the absent member to re-emerge from under the desk. The two newscasters, both women were almost speechless with laughter.
