A must have USB C to USB 3.0 A adapter

Jun 24, 2015 8:50PM PDT

If you have the new 2015 MacBook then this cable is a must! It allows attaching USB 3.0 and older USB devices to the MacBook. At the time of posting this, there are very few devices with a USB-C connector, so this USB-C to USB 3.0 adapter is a must. I have one and I like that it's short and light. That makes throwing it in my backpack along with my MacBook without any hassle.

Any details ?

If it is a must, how about sharing some details here ? As I just ordered a 12 inch New Macbook, I was told by the retailer that : "You need to buy another type C to type A adapter if you are accustomed to using old USB peripherals on it ! "

I am not sure what kind you have. I have noted one on Amazon but not decide to buy this version. I once booked a laptop bag from this seller.

But it will be great if your version is more attractive and happens to be a sliver-color one. I would love to take a good look at it.

At last, which platform you bought from ?

Will this cable come with the new Macbook when I buy it? Or I have to buy one from shop?

If I did understand what you refer to ..

Ah, dear Mark, apparently you need buy this cable from shop. There are several kinds of choices with a little different performance. Apple also provides its version.

I noted this one because I have had a good customer experience with peripherals from the seller. It is a bargain I may purchase. But who knows ! Maybe the OP has a better choice.

By the way, are you going to order a New Macbook too ?

I actually do not favor the feature of Multi -in-one port on New Macbook although I love its slim and nice appearance.

Anyway, it can be expected that the type C will be trendy. Silly
