Presuming he's Muslim, I'd think the radicals

I believe the sociologists' view is that they don't have that much sense. They (the radicals, now) lash out at The Great Satan and others.
Anyway, it's in their book. Muslim scholars agree it's a later sura, and some point out it 'came to' Muhammad at a convenient time in his personal life, but it is in the book.

For easy reference I always remember Buddha > 600 yrs > Jesus > 600 yrs > Muhammad.
Since the Muslim prophet Jesus earlier put away the 'concession' of polygamy of the Muslim prophet Moses, I always wonder why the 'backward' step on the part of the "God of [Muslim prophet] Abraham". I believe there was good balance of male/female in that place and time.
