XP and IE6

This system went back to log on screen. Tho it may be an invalid result. All zones in IE are set to max protection.

Also C-net's web page in IE has a white background, blue lettering for links, no visible frames. Firefox is showing yellow/gold background with center frame for links within C-net and forums. Yellow frame on right for ads.

The login page (if you mean the "WELCOME to CNET Forums" page) is in Favorites. If I am in any forum, or anywhere else for that matter, and I click on Favourites, and then right click the page ID, there is no "Open in new window" choice; just an "Open" choice. Clicking on this opens the login page in the same window wheree I was, overwriting whatever had been there.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
