I'm sure Lee will read this and perhaps ask some questions.
But some of these ads can seem to take over. Which browser do you use? If you use Firefox you could download their AddBlock Plus add-on, it will remove all ads from web sites.

While I was writing a post on Computer Newbies, I experienced something weird which resulted in my computer going haywire. I got back to desktop but my copy/paste/delete and other features were not working. The computer did not freeze. I could not do a restart but I could do a shutdown. No applications running in Task Manager.
While writing my post on Cnet, it appeared to me that one of the banner ads that had the word "ASK" in large print on it was 'acting up' along with a Site-Advisor red flag at its side. At the risk of sounding like a blonde (which I am) in those seconds of panic, it felt as if the banner was fighting with me for control
That's all I remember about what happened while I was on Cnet because I instinctively felt I had to get out of there ASAP or faster.
I don't think any damage has been done and after 10 minutes when I turned the computer back on, all was well..... but I thought I should post this anyway FYI.....I am a great one for just-in-case.
