All the laptops I see today accommodate external displays. So you can hook up a new 22 inch wide screen to see what your page looks like.
But back to design. The newer page designers (people, not software) are thinking the page needs to be dynamic and fit automagically to the user's screen size. The concept of page size is from printing press days.

Hey, I'm planning on buying a new laptop soon, right now I have a HP with a 15.4" widescreen monitor (1280x800). I would love to buy a 14.1"
But as I do web design I'm a little worried that, that may limit me somehow.
I don't really do flash so that's not a problem, I mean while using the actual program (adobe flash), which requires lots of space.
I pretty much use Dreamweaver and Photoshop. What is the maximum resolution I can get in a 14.1"?
what do you think?
