Resolved Question

A good 6ft usb cable for ipad?

Apr 19, 2012 3:17AM PDT

There are some reviews on amazon.com that have me worried about potential knock offs---the casing from the cord splitting and wires being exposed. Any good brands of longer power cords for apple products? (Apple is selling one that directly plugs into the wall for $30, but I don't mind using the adapter that came with the ipad--just want a longer cord). At the moment from the power strip, the 3 ft cord isn't even long enough to put the ipad above on the desk to charge. (annoying).

Is that USB 2.0 can be trouble on some machines.

If this is just for charging, get a 1 meter USB extender cable.
